Rainy days are inevitable in a number of popular holiday locations in the world, but there are usually plenty of things that tourists can do to pass the time in bad weather. The weather in Vancouver can unfortunately become colder, but in those situations travellers need not worry about finding things to do. There is so much in this Canadian city that is worth seeing during a vacation there including its impressive cultural institutions. These spots are brilliant as they are ideal for rainy weather and allow travellers to enjoy an important aspect of the city. A top place to venture to is the Museum of Anthropology that is the best place for curious visitors.

 This venue is based at the University of British Columbia and has items from around the world that consider the human existence. This destination is definitely family-friendly and it allows travellers to spend some time having fun but also learning something new. Another lovely place to visit is Vancouver Aquarium that is home to around 70,000 marine animals. The sealife includes otters, whales and dolphins and many other underwater creatures that will fascinate visitors. There are many amazing boutique hotels Vancouver has to offer travellers who should find an accommodation that is located close to the centre of the city.

The Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is a fabulous sight to visit and is certainly one of the most popular tourist attractions to see in Vancouver. The bridge crosses over to beautiful evergreen trees and provides stunning views over the forest floor, while there is also a Cliffwalk that follows the Capilano River.

 There are guided history tours and nature trails that are perfect for families and groups of friends visiting this great attraction in the lovely city of Vancouver. Wandering through the streets of Gastown is also very rewarding by admiring the historic buildings and drifting in and out of the interesting shops. Taking out a bike is a fun idea when in Vancouver as it is always wonderful to see the sights on the move. Travellers just need to remember to take raincoats and warm clothes with them when preparing for a trip to this part of the world.
