Regent’s Park will be hosting the Taste of London foodie festival from June 13-17 presenting 40 up-and-coming new eateries and popular old restaurants at this sprawling restaurant festival. Some of the best restaurants of the city will make their presence felt here including El Pastor, Smoke & Salt, Salon, Barrafina, Hoppers and Bao while some of the best chefs of London will also be there displaying their skills including Will Bowlby, Surender Mohan and Pip Lacey. Besides the ultra-tasty and delicious food that will be offered by the various restaurants, there will also be broad range of demos, boozy tastings and cookery classes. The festival will also present a trough-load of small-scale and artisanal food and drink brands selling their goods.

Visitors to London who wish to be close to its attractions and to this festival should choose to stay at The Shaftesbury Hotel as they would get luxurious accommodation with best facilities at affordable cost.

Each day of the festival will have two sessions, one for lunch and the other for dinner and there will be an entry cost for the festival that will not include food and drink costs. You can also opt for a VIP ticket that will cost twice as much but will include a glass of champagne on entry, access to the VIP lounge and a Taste recipe journal. Nearly 50,000 people are expected to attend this festival. Besides the food, demos and cookery and cocktail classes, guests will be entertained by DJs and live music. The famous chefs expected to be present include Angel Zapata Martin (Barrafina), Will Bowlby (Kricket), Pascal Aussignac (Club Gascon) and Vivek Singh (The Cinnamon Club).

If you wish to visit London at an affordable cost, the best option is to avail of a London Holiday Package that will ensure that you can stay in a luxury hotel and get many other facilities such as transport and food without having to empty your pockets.

An important element of the festival is that there will be cooking demos by top industry chefs. You can also visit the new Fire Pit stage where flame-filled cooking demonstrations will be held and you can sip on bubbles in the Champagne Laurent-Perrier Club House. You will also get the opportunity to relish a one-hour sit-down menu in the Taste Residence amidst top chefs including Niklas Ekstedt, Sean Gray and Manoella Buffara. The Residence section is an exclusive feature of the festival where five international chefs including some heads of Michelin-starred restaurants will present four-course tasting menus. Each tasting menu will feature wine pairings and cocktails and digestifs by Zacapa rum from the highlands of Guatemala. Visitors will get a great opportunity to enjoy a Michelin-starred meal at a bargain price.

Guests staying at a Hyde Park Boutique Hotel get the advantage of staying in a unique luxury hotel and enjoy personalised services in close proximity to Hyde Park and many other attractions of central London.

Taste of London is a family-friendly festival that offers free admission to under-5s while children 6 and over will be charged a small entrance fee. Visitors can also enjoy other attractions such as the thoughtfully presented tents and the well-organised layout of the place which has a simple, clean décor although it is decadent at certain places
