Head to the Excellent Horniman Carnival to Celebrate the Music and Theatre of Brazil

Theatre performances will include an interactive family theatre show based around the Brazilian folklore character Saci-Perere. This piece will include mime, puppetry and live Brazilian music. There will also be impressive costumes and gorgeous backdrops that will illuminate the stage. Another great piece that will definitely engage visitors is Theatrical Giant Puppets of Olinda that will be performed by Zero Open Studio. This is an interactive performance and installation that is inspired by traditional puppets that originate from Europe. Guests are certain to have a top time at this amazing day out to be held on Sunday, September 4, between 12pm and 5.30pm.

The Horniman Museum and Gardens is a unique arts venue that is found in the Forest Hill area of London. The cultural institution offers exhibits on natural history and musical instruments and is ideal for a day out with all the family. There is an aquarium here with all types of aquatic life with jellyfish and frogs just some of the water creatures.
