The sad demise of the founder band, Maurice White this year is no bigger than a shock, but the band has his genes in his brother Verdine White along with Philip Bailey and Ralph Johnson, who are no less than a great team pelting out riotous shows of pyramids, levitations and the hits like Shining Star, Boogie Wonderland will be played while the London crowd cheers them to glory. This festival at the Turn bridge, Kent is class apart the huge difference that lingers on is the fact that one of the Do it yourself thing lined up this summer. The Lee festival has been following the long tradition put in place by a 16 year old Lee Denny ten years ago. This festival is a non-profitable venture and has earned a very respectable place amongst the guests; this has also attracted some of the great bands with an inclination towards the indie culture. The way it has come up at a new site and year on year they have built up on their solid line up is commendable and now it is reaching for the next level, this also gives you an inspiration and a kick to start your own festival and how to keep on growing it year on year.
