Why choose Paddington for a London break

When it comes to any capital city, or large city in the world it can be difficult to know where to stay, especially if this is the first time one has been, the same goes for London, there are so many different sides to the city, the last thing someone wants to do is be staying on the out skirts of the city if they want to be in the midst of the excitement, there is also the business district which during the weekend is a quiet area, maybe a little tranquillity is what one is seeking, so staying in Piccadilly would not be recommended.

There are some areas that many people think of as desirable and expensive, whilst there are areas such as Kensington and Chelsea that are very desirable, not only for tourist and visitors but also for residents, one might think that hotel prices are through the roof and shoot up because of the location, now whist there might be some truth in this, it must also be noted it is not always the case.

For instance if one takes the time to seek out a map of London, on will be able to see that Paddington is the neighbouring area to Kensington, Earls Court and a little further south is Chelsea. Being located North of Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, it goes without saying that the area and the scenes are simply stunning, they are breath taking and offer some beautiful memories, especially if a picnic in the park, a leisure boat ride and laughter filling the air is of interest.

North of the park is Paddington which also give access to Notting Hill, Portobello Road, Oxford Street, Marble Arch and after a walk down park lane, through Hyde Park, one is able to come across the museums, these include the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum, The Royal Albert Hall and for a luxurious experience why not seek out Harrods one of the world’s most famous shops.

Getting around Paddington is simple, accessing other areas of the city is also an easy task. There are several stations in and around Paddington and these are

Paddington-Underground runs the Circle and Hammersmith City Lines

Paddington runs Bakerloo Circle and District Lines

London Paddington is the main over head that also give access to Heathrow

Lancaster Gate runs the Central Line as does Queensway

Bayswater runs the Circle and District Lines.

Between each of these lines and routes one is able to access any part of the city they wish to should Paddington not be enough. When it comes to accommodation in Paddington many people are under the impression that it is for the more exclusive guests, this is not the case, whilst it might be a desirable area, it is also affordable. Choosing accommodation can be something of a chore, especially if one is new to the city. A top recommendation is to be at Park Grand Paddington Court London.

The Grand Paddington offers all guests, corporate, families, groups of friends, couples and independent travellers a wonderful stay and experience, breakfast is available, as is a restaurant during the evening, there is a lounge and bar area that is suitable for people to relax in and to make the most of their time in London, especially if they are only staying a short time. The rooms here come in various sizes and welcome everyone as mentioned. Each has a private bathroom and comes with amenities such as TV, phone line, internet, tea and coffee making facilities, the hotel also offers guests exclusive use of the on site gym.

Remembering that this is a very affordable hotel for all, it is one of the finest within the area and within the price range, and as it is part of the Shaftesbury collection, so this goes without saying that it is part of one of the most exclusive hotel chains within the capital city. Where the Shaftesbury name is quality always follows.

Over all, this is a wonderful choice of accommodation in Paddington, it is a beautiful area that allows for guests to get to any other area in the city, it show cases some beautiful scenes and there are fabulous experiences to be had here, whilst guests are able to get into other areas of the city, returning to a comfortable and relaxing abhorred should suit everyone.
